Who we are

Lumarais is a cleaning service operated by Sterling Nexus Services LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. This policy covers our website and the client, cleaner and admin portals.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.

Service details: property addresses, size and entry instructions, booking dates, checklists, messages, photos and files you share in the portal, ratings and billing documents.

Cleaner details: service areas, availability, assigned jobs, clock-in and clock-out times, a badge photo, and documents such as tax forms, agreements and background check results.

Arrival checks: when a cleaner taps "I've arrived", their phone's location at that moment is compared with the property address. We store the result and distance, not a continuous location history.

Documents you upload or we share with you, stored privately and visible only to you and our office.

Gift cards: the buyer's name and email, the recipient's name and optional email, and any personal message. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.

Technical details: basic logs our hosting providers keep to run and secure the site, such as IP address and browser type.

How we use it

To quote, schedule and carry out cleaning visits, and to let clients, cleaners and our team message each other.

To prepare cleaning checklists. Job details may be sent to an AI provider to draft a checklist, which a person reviews before it is used.

To add visits to your calendar when you subscribe from your portal.

If you turn on home preview for a property, your assigned cleaner sees that address on Google Maps (satellite and Street View) before the visit. It's off unless you choose it, and you can turn it off any time.

Maps in our apps: the Google map preview loads only after you tap Show map (you can choose to always show it on your device). Directions open in Apple Maps or Google Maps, which apply their own privacy policies.

To send invoices and keep business records, and to keep the service secure.

Who can see it

Entry instructions and addresses are shared only with the cleaner assigned to your visit and our team. Billing is visible only to you and our admins.

We use service providers to run the site: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in and calendar) and Anthropic (checklist drafts). They process data only to provide those services to us.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google we use your name, email address and profile picture only to create and identify your account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

We keep account and service records while your account is active and as long as needed for billing, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your choices

You can view and update most of your information in your portal. To get a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account, message us from your portal and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date below, and tell account holders about significant changes.
